Mike Green…. with the lob to Lebron! I can hear it now. The Indy Star writes:
A Former Butler guard Mike Green will play for the Cleveland Cavaliers during summer league, his agent, Buddy Baker, confirmed.
Green had summer team offers from five teams, Baker said.
Green worked out for a number of NBA teams prior to the draft but wasn’t picked Thursday night.
The Horizon League Player of the Year led his team in scoring, rebounding and assists as the Bulldogs put together the most successful team in Butler history.
Green averaged 14.6 points for a team that won a school-record 30 games and reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
Green also set Butler single-season records for assists (197) and free throws made (196) as a senior.
